Previously elected in 2016 and re-elected in 2024, Ralph Kendall Jnr holds the position of Mayor of Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council.  Mayor Ralph will assist, partake and have oversight on all portfolios and is part of any standing committees.

Elected in 2016, 2020 and again in 2024, Tim Koo-Aga is responsible for the portfolios of: Education (Shared with all elected members), Arts & Culture, Elders, Enterprise and Health.

Elected in 2016 and again in 2024, Keith Barney is responsible for the portfolios of: Education (Shared with all elected members), Essential Services, Men’s Group, Planning & Infrastructure and Roads & Transport.

Elected in 2024, Lucy Foote is responsible for the portfolios of: Education (Shared with all elected members), Housing, Land & Sea and Womens Issues (Shared with Cr Romina Edwards).
