Environmental Health Worker

Fulltime Position

Council is seeking an eager individual to join our Environmental Health Team as Team Leader

The Environmental Health Officer will deliver a range of public and environmental health services, programs and projects that aim to:

  • Protect and promote public health
  • Prevent the incidence of infectious diseases
  • Safeguard the environment
  • Enhance quality of life in the community
  • Assist Council to meet its legislative requirements within applicable Acts and Regulations
The successful applicant will have the following:
  • Certificate III in Indigenous Environmental Health
  • Open Manual “C” Class Driver’s Licence
  • A satisfactory national criminal history check

This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identified role
